John Bonham was the drummer for 1970's rock band Led Zeppelin. He influenced a generation of Rock drummers with his power and ability to 'groove'. Sadly John died aged just 32 as a result of alcohol abuse. He is survived by his son Jason Bonham who has played drums for Led Zeppelin in reunion gigs. Not only did John have monster 'Chops' and 'Fills' as displayed in the classic solo "Moby Dick" below but he played with incredible 'feel'. Check out "The Immigrant Song" for an example of this.
