TIPS:

This is a Linear style drum beat which means you are only ever hitting one drum or cymbal at a time.
Think of this pattern as a constant flow of eighth notes 1& 2& 3& 4& etc (with 2 1/16th notes at the end)
Notice the Hi Hat cymbals are on the 'up' beats or '&' counts in the first and third bars and on the 'down' beats or '1,2,3,4' counts in the second and fourth bars.
The bass drum and snare drum alternate between the 'down' and 'up' beats aswell. This gives this pattern it's distinctive sound.
