Phil Collins is a true Drum Legend. He started out as the drummer for progressive rock band Genesis in the 1960's. When their lead singer Peter Gabriel left to persue a solo career Phil stepped out from behind the drums and became the lead singer.
In the 1980's he began a solo career and played one of the most famous drum fills of all time on the track "In The Air Tonight" from the album "Face Value". This Fill has since been imortalised in the Cadbury Gorilla Advert.
Phil is an accomplished pianist and has written many chart hits. He also formed and toured with his own 20 piece Jazz Big Band in 1996.
