Ian Paice is the drummer for the rock band Deep Purple. Probably most famous for the classic track 'Smoke On The Water" they have influenced countless other bands including The Datsuns and Kasabian.
Ian Paice is the only original member of Deep Purple now in their 5th decade of performing. Along with John Bonham of Led Zepplin in the 1970's Ian Paice manged to combine Hard Rock with great grooves.
